Recently, Shawn Hodges Photography had the fun opportunity to document prom for some amazing seniors in Carthage, Texas! As a Carthage TX prom photographer, capturing these once-in-a-lifetime moments is always such an honor.

The day was absolutely beautiful, and the weather could not have been more perfect. The colors really popped, and the excitement and personality of these seniors truly shines through in every image. Prom is such a special milestone, and you can feel the joy and celebration in every moment.

What details do you remember from your prom?

I still remember mine so clearly. I wore a custom-made, fitted, floor-length black dress with three red bows cascading down the back. I originally wanted velvet, but chose a stunning taffeta instead—and it was perfect. I remember the laughter at dinner, the anticipation, and of course, taking photos that I still treasure today.

That’s exactly why I love what I do.
